Buried Underground: DOOM part II

Now that you know a little bit about DOOM from part I, let me explain why this man is so dope. No matter what his hip-hop moniker may be at any given moment, (MF DOOM, DOOM, King Geedorah, Viktor Vaughn, Zev Love X) he completely devours any competition. He is never afraid to switch up his jump shot and pour drain-o on his haters. Here are some examples...

The persona known as Viktor Vaughn is a stuck out of time rapper that has to make due with the world of the past (our present). He stands out like a red pill among blue ones, thus he is vastly superior to anyone else. Due to this fact, Viktor's lyrics are extremely cocky.

King Geedorah is another form of the beast known as DOOM. This persona usually produces the beats while other artists are featured on them.

While DOOM has managed to poke a needle into the bowels of the mainstream with outings like DANGERDOOM and gaining the attention of Radiohead, he still remains underground. Despite all that, he fans remain loyal. There is finally a sign of the forever teased DOOMSTARKS record, which fans of DOOM and Ghostface Killah have been dying for.

I hope that the first Buried Underground writeup has been enlightening. I plan to spotlight several underground artists from different genres in this section of the blog. As far as DOOM goes, I'll let Mos Def have the last word.
