Watch It: Take Shelter

Life is weird. You're young and hopeful with plenty of dreams. You get married and have a child. Your child is deaf. Your mother is diagnosed with a mental illness. You work a mind-numbing job. You are barely making ends meet during a terrible economic crisis. Then you have a vision...make that several horrific visions. You should take shelter.
Take Shelter is a film that depicts the lives of your average, almost-poor, American family living in Ohio. Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain are parents to a young girl with a hearing disability. They only wish for two things in life. First, they want to cure their daughter. Second, they want to save enough money for a beach getaway. Nah, none of that is happening. Instead of dreams coming to life, they are plagued by nightmares.

I do not want this to be a review of the movie, but it's definitely a high quality film. Oh, and it kinda has a "Twilight Zone"-esque ending. Watch It.
